Postdoctoral Position in Chemical Biology

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time fixed-term position as a postdoctoral researcher in the Myers Laboratory at the School of Chemistry, National University of Ireland, Galway. This position is funded by the SFI-HRB-Wellcome Biomedical Research Partnership and is available from 1 April 2019 for a period of 12 months (Salary: €39,530 per annum).

The aim of the project is to develop a unifying and detailed understanding of the mechanism of formation of advanced glycation end-product (AGE) crosslinks formed through the non-enzymatic ternary reactions of fibrous protein with monosaccharides.
